Hotels
- La Tupina, 6 Rue Porte de la
Monnaie, 33000 Bordeaux (T:05 56.91.56.37, F:05 56.31.92.11) . This is a culinary
heaven. It is a very homey restaurant, you even find a fireplace with a pot of soup
simmering over it as you walk in to the restaurant. It also offers the specialities of the
Region and from the ones we tried, they were all delicious. They even have a web site!
- L'Entrecote, on the town square. You can't book, there's
always a queue to get in and it is the very very best steak I have ever had the privilege
to try. Don't forget to leave enough room for the profiterole deserts which are, in one
word, orgasmic. :-)

- Hotel De Seze,
7 Rue de Seze, 23 Allees de Tourny, 33000 Bordeaux
(T:05 56.52.65.54). This is a nicely located hotel right in the middle of town. Its
not a frills place but it is convenient to the square and the shopping areas. As with
nearly all rooms in France, the rooms do have a nicotine flavouring ;-).
